  • You will be prompted to create a username and password

  • Your account will give you access to booking sessions, the ability to modify or cancel any upcoming bookings, retrieve, receipts and payment history, access any shared resources I share with you within a session.

STEP 2:  When we meet for your online video appointment you will need to connect to your client account in advance, using your created username and password, as online video telehealth sessions are held on Jane's secure platform, and your will need to sign in to start your session.

STEP 3: You will be able to join your session 30 minutes prior to the start of your online video appointment.

  • Test and make sure your device is ready to go with working sound and video before your session starts.

  • Online video technology works best using the Chrome Browser on a laptop or desktop computer However you can access your online session on an iPad or mobile device. See the link here for tips to do this.

  • *Basic Supplies to have handy for your session: paper, a writing device like a pen or pencil, **AND** if you have any kind of art media at the ready (like simple felt pens, pencil crayons, pastels, or watercolor paints, sculpting materials like plasticine/clay/dough/tinfoil/random loose parts/LEGO, etc.).

  •  Some online digital art media or other media links may/may not be used during your session. We will go with the flow of course, but it is always great to arrive prepared for your video session with some supplies, in case it makes sense to call upon them to support and enhance your unfolding therapeutic process that occurs while in session.

Helpful tips for a Successful Online Video Session:

  • Set yourself up in a quiet and private space where you feel comfortable and relaxed

  • Free yourself up of any distractions (turn off the phone or put on silent, turn off desktop notifications) tell other family members to not interrupt you during your session beforehand).

  • Check your computer speed here. You want at least 15 Mbps. It is best if others in your home are not live streaming video games or using other applications that take up a lot of your computer's capacity during your session. This ensures the quality of your audio and video during your session.

  • Place your video lens in front of you at eye level, and have any lighting behind you.
